PRODUCT DETAILS
MES 5.7 Litre / 40 cuft cylinders make the perfect decompression bottle. The longer slender shape allows the bottle to cut through water with ease, a MES ali 40 is hardly noticeable during a dive. Typically a 40 cuft cylinder will be used for pure oxygen as this is a shallow stop, with a typical 180 bar fill the cylinder is barely negative and is perfectly neutral around 130 bar. This size cylinder can also be used for 50% with decompression stops totalling around 20 minutes. An MES 40cuft cylinder is a good choice for a decompression bottle in the 25-40 meter range. MES 5.7 litre cylinders are available in either white or silver, we think silver is the best option as white cylinders can start to look tatty when being dived hard.

Valve Fitting & Shipping Surcharge
Due to shippers being rougher and rougher with boxes we have decided that cylinder will not have valves pre fitted due to risk of damage during transit.
If you want us to:
- Fit the valve you have ordered separately.
- Pack the valve end of the cylinder with plastic & expanding foam.
- insure the parcel for damage.
