This rig is assembled around 2 × PVD coated brass first stage bodies, strengthened with heat-exchange ribs and a ribbed diaphragm clamp to actively manage thermal loss in sub-10°C layers. The over-balanced diaphragm design means inter-stage pressure rises faster than ambient on descent, keeping airflow stable and breathing effort natural — even at depth on demanding offshore lines, deco stops and longer twinset profiles.
The Auto Closure Device (ACD) seals the intake the moment you disconnect — stopping water ingress before it even thinks about becoming an issue. Five MP ports per first stage and dual angled HP ports give cleaner hose exits for gauges and transmitters, while twin LP swivels remove neck torque and hose twist — so head movement stays effortless, not engineered around protest.
Second stage breathing that feels like diving with composure pre-installed
Both primary 2nd stages (black/black, backmount-coded) feature a Laminar Flow Valve to reduce turbulence and maximise consistency. Large, glove-tactile venturi levers and breathing-effort adjusters make on-the-fly tuning mid-dive feel intuitive, even under exposure protection like cold water dry gloves. The 2-stage purge button gives controlled low-flow fills via side-press and instant full-clear via centre-press, resetting cleanly with every use.
A patented 2nd-stage thermal heat exchanger dumps cold from gas expansion while reclaiming warmth from the surrounding water — improving comfort and reducing freeze risk when you’re working the profile in these northern dive latitudes.
