Dear Diving Community,
I am excited to share an important new chapter for The Scuba Diving Gear Store (formerly DiveLifeUK). After an incredible 6 years of growth and success, I have made the decision to offer this thriving business up for sale, with the aim of a transition to the potential new owner taking place by April 2025.
In the past 6 years, we have transformed from a local walk-in shop to a highly successful online retailer, all while remaining a trusted resource and pillar of support for our diving community. This journey has been deeply rewarding, and it has been an honor to serve such a passionate and dedicated group of divers.
As I increasingly have been shifting my personal focus on diver training, travel, and project work, I recognize that my shifting focus is not healthy for either the business or my own personal sanity and that the business deserves someone who can dedicate the time and energy it needs to continue its upward trajectory. This is a tremendous opportunity for fresh leadership to inject new ideas and drive further growth for both our retail and online platforms.
